VoC - Heavy Vehicle & Light Vehicle Pre-Employment Drive Report

The Verification of Competency (VoC) – Heavy vehicle & Light vehicle Pre-employment Drive Report assessment is designed to evaluate your potential new employee, or an existing employee’s, ability to operate a commercial vehicle safely and competently. The assessment requires the driver to demonstrate competence against the relevant standards and performance criteria. Theory and practical evidence on their underpinning knowledge and skills will be collected and evidence required.

The aim is to ensure participants demonstrate a certain level of skill and proficiency.

Drivers need to demonstrate the following to be considered safe and competent for employment:

• Sound observation and judgement skills
• The right attitude and approach to the task by avoiding risk-taking behaviours
• Hazard recognition and risk avoidance skills
• An ability to make good decisions quickly
• Understanding of their behaviours and how they may affect others

The Verification of Competency (VoC) – Heavy vehicle & Light vehicle Pre-employment Drive Report assessment is conducted in your vehicle and is evaluated over an hour.  At the conclusion of the evaluation, a report is presented to you on the collected information regarding the employee or potential employee.

The cost for this valuable report is $165.00 (GST inclusive) and there are no minimum number requirements within the Southern Darling Downs region.
