Neffy®: Australia’s New Needle-Free Adrenaline Treatment for Anaphylaxis

What Is Neffy Used For?
Neffy® is indicated for the emergency treatment of severe allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, in:
- Adults and children aged 4 years and older.
- Individuals weighing at least 15 kg
As with all adrenaline treatments, Neffy® is intended as an emergency first-aid measure and does not replace the need for urgent medical assessment. Emergency medical assistance should always be sought immediately after administration.
Dosage Recommendations
- Children weighing 15 kg to Less Than 30 kg use Neffy® 1 mg. Administer one spray into one nostril.
- Children and Adults Weighing 30 kg or More use Neffy® 2 mg. Administer one spray into one nostril.
Second Dose
If symptoms do not improve, worsen, or return after approximately 5 minutes, a second dose should be administered using a new Neffy® device, ideally in the same nostril. Patients are advised always to carry two doses.

Who Should Not Use Neffy®?
